Sinta Tantra: Built Environment Indonesia Meetup #3

Built Environment Indonesia Meetup #3

The staging of cultural events in the urban realm plays a major role in enriching the experience of cities. In some cases, these events and the structures built for it are used explicitly as a motivation for the regeneration of cities.

The third installment of the Built Environment Indonesia Meetup will feature four speakers with backgrounds ranging from the visual arts, music, film and arts policy. The four speakers will present through their work and research, their views on the conceptual, production and policy related to the staging of cultural events in cities from the Indonesian perspective.

Speakers: Michael Mulyadi (IT expert, conductor and MA candidate in Arts Administration & Cultural Policy at Goldsmiths College); Eric Sasono (film critic, journalist, activist, festival organiser and PhD candidate at King's College); Jane Showell (cultural entrepreneur, British Council Indonesia Programme Manager); and Sinta Tantra (artist).
