Fernanda Carrillo

Fernanda Carrillo (b. 1995) is a Mexican artist whose intimate practice spans painting, sculpture, ceramics, and textile art, with a current strong focus on stone and resin. Her work explores deeply personal themes, blending her architectural background with her evolving artistic vision. Influenced by artists like Louise Bourgeois, Fernanda draws from confessional art, integrating visual clarity with phrases and texts that reveal her private self. Her creative process is rooted in introspection, where internal dialogues and written reflections often evolve into sculptures, paintings, or installations. Each piece becomes a physical manifestation of her most personal explorations.
