Meghdad Lorpour

Meghdad Lorpour (b. 1983, Shiraz, Iran) is a painter based in Tehran, Iran where he previously studied at the Shahed University. After his early focus on portraiture, inspired by Persian mythology and Miniature Painting, Lorpour then expanded his practice to exploring flora and fauna, contextualising them in his multi-layered research.
