This work is the first in a perceived series of reimagined goddesses where I seek to re-explore the feminine as it has traditionally been depicted in sculpture, no less now, but certainly in the light of the collapse of the historic heroic masculine. In my interpretations I’m also seeking to combine traditionally masculine and feminine sculptural forms together, along with emblems of figures, myths or deities to ignite something timeless, yet new, from to Arp to Moore, Boedica to Guinevere.
