Chidinma Nnoli

Chidinma Nnoli (b. 1998, Enugu, Nigeria) who currently lives and work in Lagos, received her BFA from the University of Benin, Nigeria in 2018. Nnoli is an artist working primarily with painting. Her practice contemplates the importance of a single subject’s embodied experiences, overlaying the past unto the present while insisting on the emotional link between body and space often in conflict with self and a background mostly saturated with religion and gendered obligations.

Highlights and Collections 
Chidinma Nnoli’s art has been featured in Vogue, The New York Times, The Art Newspaper, Artskop and She Curates. Nnoli has received the upcoming PM/AM 2023 Residency in London, UK, as well as the Rele Art Foundation Residency in Ekiti, Nigeria in 2019. Furthermore, she has also completed an internship at Universal Studios of Art at the National Theatre in Lagos in 2017.
