Tarik Goetzke

Tarik Goetzke (b. 1984 in Berlin) is an artist working with text- and sound-based media. Trained as a theatre director, he creates multi-perspective audio pieces that explore more-than-human perspectives, ecological entanglements and the material poetics of voice. Combining dramaturgical precision with speculative storytelling, his works are rooted in original textual compositions that form their conceptual and narrative foundation. Goetzke frequently collaborates with artist Anna Kubelík on the ongoing ME+ projects, presenting these audio works in exhibitions and performances. He studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Frankfurt (HfMDK) and pursued additional studies in theatre, film and media studies, philosophy and German literature in Frankfurt and Berlin.
