Hans Ragner Mathisen's maps are drawn on multilayered plastic foil; the A,B,C denote the separate pieces he creates (some with different mediums) to then make the final product. The final composition of layered plastic foils are reproduced photographically or scanned and printed on paper (usually in A2, sometimes multiple sizes). Mathisen has given each map a short ID code, KM = Keviselie Map and a number , for example KM 01 is the first map of Sábmi.
