Where we left off (bicycle seat)
If you’re Dutch, you most likely grew up riding a bike. While living abroad for six years, the thing I missed the most about the Netherlands was riding my bike (besides friends & fam, obviously). I truly love it, although there are moments I curse having to climb on my iron stallion. As a kid, I hated biking to school by myself against the wind. Unfortunately, our rainy climate can make it even less enjoyable. It often means coming to work completely wet or just with a wet ass because your saddle sucked up all the moisture the night before and delivered it to your pants during the ride. I’ve had many adventures with my bikes, which have luckily and miraculously ended with me coming home safe. And yes, I do believe it’s the best way of transportation there is.
