Anne Carney Raines

Anne Carney Raines (b. 1990) was born in Nashville Tennessee, and is a London based artist. Rainesproduces installation work that deals with topics exploring theatre, transitional space,and collective memory as she feeds off her background inscenic painting. She received herBFA in painting from Indiana University, Bloomington in 2014 and her MA in 2021 at the Royal College of Art in London. Raines is a two-time recipient of the ElizabethGreenshields Foundation Grant, as well as the Bloomberg New Contemporaries; she has exhibited in various cities across the United States as well as in London, UK.
