Tom Butler is a multimedia artist working in painting, drawing, sculpture and photography. Receiving his MFA in Sculpture from the Slade School of Fine Art, London in 2007 and two BAs (Sculpture, Chelsea College of Art and Design, London, 2005 and History of Art and Design, Winchester School of Art, Southampton University, 2000), Butler now lives and works in Portland, Maine. Recent solo exhibitions include Inhabitants at CHARLIE SMITH London (2015), ONE HUNDRED MISFITS at Fifty One Too Gallery, Antwerp (2014), and Inner Worlds at Aucosisco Galleries, Portland (2014). Butler has been involved in numerous group shows and fairs in 2014, including Adolatry (CHARLIE SMITH London), Paris Photo 2014, Art Brussels 2014, The London Art Fair and The Royal Academy's Summer Exhibition. His work is found in collections in the UK, USA, and across Europe.
