She is showing off her dancing skill but is in a pensive mood yet aware of her dance partner next to her. Look how show-offish she is of her lacy dress. Her surroundings put her in the mood to dance but are not overstated. Can we guess what's she is thinking, judging by her facial expression? Surely not. Hence the Title... Penny For Her Thoughts.
